UnSilenced was launched by the Battle Creek Police Department during Crime Victim’s Rights Week, April 24th, 2024. UnSilenced fell under the umbrella of the Kalamazoo Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition and hit the ground running as a survivor-led, faith-driven, grassroots ministry built at street level — because change doesn’t start in a boardroom. It starts with people who’ve lived it, seen it, and decided to do something about it.
